  1. There is something in the intensity of that young man that I sadly wonder if I have lost at times. Then a subject that truly catches my interest comes along, and in that instant, all the early awe and wonder returns, and I discover it was never really lost, it was just waiting for something to give it a kick in the pants. Lol.

    • LOL indeed! Admittedly the hubby and I feel the same way most of the time, especially in the daily grind of these uncertain times. But as you say, something catches our interest, and immediately we are taken back to that childlike wonder. I believe most adults often confuse “child-like” with “childish” often mistaking the former with the latter. I feel it’s important to maintain some childlike qualities, all the more so when dealing with challenges. Easier said than done, of course! Thank you very much for making time to view some of my older work. I can imagine this young man has grown quite a bit these past few years.

      • And hopefully he still finds the occasional reason, and the time in our hectic world, to spend a moment or two, with that camera or another one, and that same look of intensity on his face.

    • Hi Tanja,
This little boy did remind me of my childhood. However, the cameras were not so compact and film was not cheap, so my father had to make sure I didn’t get too excited 🙂
