Dear Takami,
I know it’s not autumn, but one can enjoy images of fall flowers in spring, which is exactly what I did. 😊
Thank you for the lovely floral display.
Tanja
Dear Tanja,
I really appreciate this comment! Thanks so much for revisiting some autumn moments with me ❤️
It was my pleasure, Takami. I love these flowers, we have some in our garden, too.
I LOVVVVEEE this!
Thank you so much, West!
I’m glad you liked these pink blossoms 🙂 🙂
Best wishes,
Takami
Wow, could really use some of that around here now (considering it’s December). The shots are great. I really like the one with the bee right inside the flower. Cool. Take care.
I wish these Cosmos were still in bloom here too! I assume different areas of the world will have different flowering seasons, but Cosmos are ‘autumn’ flowers here, and a real treat, with their bright pink colours. I’m glad you enjoyed these shots, and appreciate your comment! 🙂
Very lovely photos.
Thank you very much for your comment! 🙂
I just have to say that when I got up on this cold morning and saw these beautiful pink flowers — well, they made me extremely happy and warm! Thank you for capturing such natural beauty.
Hi Deb,
Wow, you’ve made my evening with your lovely comment 🙂 It’s getting quite chilly here too, I can’t believe these flowers were showing off their colours less than 2 months ago! As always, thank you for your comment 😀
I just love cosmos. They grow wild in our garden around Easter time ❤
Oh, that must be wonderful, to have Cosmos grow wild in your garden! I’m envious 🙂
Just beautiful!
Thank you! The Cosmos were very beautiful this year 🙂
Beautiful photos Takami, the first one and last one are the ones that really capture my eye… The processing and DOF of the first shot makes it so perfect. Cheers to a great weekend!
Aw, shucks, you’re too kind 🙂
As mentioned in the other comments (sorry if redundant) it was my first time to photograph Cosmos flowers, and having seen so many amazing flower photos out there, I wasn’t sure if/how I’d be able to come up with something that’s even a little ‘unique’ or different. In the end, I just decided to do it by instinct and see how things go. I’m really glad I tried, and thrilled at the overall positive response 🙂
Going my instinct and trying things out is where great shots originate ~ so well done Takami! Cheers
These are amazing pictures. I just love them! Jeanne Marie
Thank you so much! And I also appreciate the re-blog on your wonderful site 🙂 ❤
うわぁ。。。お見事です。本当にプロ!最初のイメージのムードはスゴイ!全部シャープ、色もバッチリ!
You’re too kind!! 😀 😀
Lovely images, Takami 🙂
I liked the third one most… beautiful composition:)
Thank you, Sreejith 🙂
The 3rd one was one of my favourites too 😉 It was my first time photographing Cosmos flowers and I enjoyed it very much. I can’t wait till next year!

Hello! Beautiful! I love the pink of the flowers against a background of green grass. The bumble bee picture is so cool! 😀

Wonderful artwork!
Thank you! I’m delighted you liked this series 🙂
It was my first time to photograph these Cosmos flowers, and I had a wonderful time 🙂
Aren’t they a beautiful subject for photography? They are considered plain, but for me they are the most beautiful.
Yes, they’re a wonderful subject for photography. And I agree with you, they are so beautiful! ❤
Do you have lots of healthy honey bees in Japan?
Yes, we have a few types of honey bees here. We gotta have the sweet stuff! 🙂 😀
Excellent gallery dear Takami…I truly love these flowers ⭐
Sending you all my best wishes and I hope you have a great week ahead,

Whilst I love the colours of autumn, like my mother I also adore all shades of pink…I guess I am a girly girl after all.. this series of photographs delivers on all levels….thank you..
Cosmos…here they are a summer flower. You have captured their ethereal nature. Lovely.
Thank you for your comment. I love Cosmos flowers, and it was really lovely to spend a whole afternoon admiring & photographing them 🙂

Thank you Lindy. I’m delighted to know you like them. Their pink colours were indeed so pretty 🙂

Beautiful! Interesting point of focus; usually people focus on things in the foreground and blur out the background but this is the other way round – it’s cool because it’s like there’s a frame around the flowers that the focus is on XD Lovely photo.
(I was talking about the first photograph)
Many thanks for sharing your thoughts 🙂 I’m glad you liked the first photo. I was trying to do something ‘different’ (as you say, it’s more common to focus on the foreground) and was pretty happy with how it turned out. But it’s always reassuring to know if other people liked it too 😉
Cool 😀 Yeah, it does help if someone else shares their opinion because then you can be extra sure, haha! But it seems like you knew what you were doing XD Nice pic.
Very nice flowers 🙂
Thank you so much 🙂 Nature has such amazing beauty! 🙂
lovely cosmos!
Thank you! They were so pretty, and it was my first time to try and photograph them 🙂
I love Cosmos! You captured their bright, happy personalities perfectly. I especially adore the vibrant pink colour in this series (when I was a child, this was my favourite colour of wax crayon). And I love seeing the bee! It’s wonderful to see flowers in bloom, as ours are long gone. Flowers are such joyful things. A beautiful, happy series, Takami! Wishing you and your husband a wonderful day! :)))
Hello Jeannie!!
When I saw/made these photos, I knew I had to dedicate them to you. You always inspire me with your beautiful photography & writing, and I love how you capture flowers in all their natural glory! I loved the vibrant pink colour as a child too! 🙂
The bee also reminded me of you (and…they’re so cute) and I hoped you’d like it. I am aching for a macro-lens, imagine all the cool things to could try with it! But it’s still a whole lot of fun using what’s available to me 😉 I love how nature makes such amazing colours, such perfection.
As always, thank you for your comments and I wish you & your partner a wonderful evening too.
Oh, my goodness, Takami! Thank you soooooo much for the dedication! I looked at your post first thing this morning on my iPad as soon as I awoke. I wasn’t wearing my reading glasses and I completely missed your lovely dedication! Please accept my humble apologies! As I said earlier, I love this post, the subject and colours are so “me”. And, of course, you know how I feel about bees. I am deeply honoured indeed! You made my day…. again! :))))
No need for any apologies! I’m just really happy you liked the ‘pink’ for this theme 🙂 🙂
I absolutely LOVE the pink!!! Thank you again, my friend! :))
Cosmos are splendid flowers of autumn, I adore them, I sow some in my garden.
Your photographs are superb, the last even more with the bee which gathers nectar and pollen.
Thank you for this series Takami.
Have a beautiful day. Herve
Hello Herve,
Thank you for your comment 🙂
I love Cosmos flowers too, especially their colours. We also call them “autumn cherry blossoms” here. I was so happy to make photographs of these beautiful flowers for the first time. And I’m happy you liked the photo with the bee 🙂
Wish you a great evening!
Wonderful and colourful gallery ! 🙂
Thank you so much! 🙂
Nice Cosmos!
Thank you 🙂 I’m glad you liked them!
Beautiful.
Aw, thank you! So glad you liked it 🙂 🙂
Very pretty! 🙂
Thank you! The flowers were very beautiful this year 🙂
Gorgeous!
Thank you so much! 🙂
