  1. Hi!
Thank you for visiting my site yesterday. I’m glad you liked my post “9 Proven Ways to SkyRocket Your Traffic.” Jordan, my guest author, had great advice about StumbleUpon. I’m sorry I didn’t get over here sooner. Long work week.
I love your photo uptop. Chipmunks? Squirrels? I am trying to improve my photography for my blog. I took a photo of a squirrel recently I will use soon.
    Nice to meet you.
    Janice

    • Hello Janice,
Thanks so much for stopping by and leaving a lovely comment. These 2 are squirrels, and they seemed to enjoy staring at the human with the camera 🙂 Your site contains many helpful informations, and I’ll look forward to your squirrel photo!
      Best wishes,
      Takami

      毎度ありがとうございます(笑)こちらの写真は大好きな動物園(埼玉県)で撮ったものです。たまたまちょーラッキーでした(^^)

  2. As I scrolled down the 57 others that commented I saw so many of our blogging friends that we have in common. You have such a lovely site it doesn’t really surprise me. The picture of the squirrels is too cute! Their tiny faces are adorable. Thank you for posting it.

    • Hello Bob,
Thank you so much for your comment. I was hoping you’d have a chance to stop by and see this post. Yes, thanks to you (and the ‘shoutout’ post on your blog a few weeks ago) many folks have discovered my site. It was a lucky and unexpected ‘gift’ to be able to make this shot. I was actually admiring the cherry blossoms at my favourite zoo, and felt someone staring at me. And lo and behold, it was these 2 fellows, probably wondering who is this standing in front of their enclosure, LOL 😀 🙂

  3. This is such an awesome shot…to little guys complete in bliss in their home 🙂 You have captured the perfect moment, and like the processing of this shot as well. Beautiful Takami!

    • Thank you Randall! I was very lucky – sometimes the best things come at unexpected times – and it really made my day to get this shot. I’m glad you liked the B&W finish, because it’s what I immediately wanted to when I saw these guys. Hope you’re having a good week! 🙂

  4. Oh, Takami! What adorable faces these are! I just love squirrels. Besides birds, and the occasional raccoon, they’re the one wildlife staple in my neighborhood (in the city). I could watch them play and scurry about all day, and once in a while I can even get close enough with my cell phone to snap a photo — but nothing like this wonderful image! Thank you for sharing, 🙂

    • Aw, shucks you’re too kind ❤ I envy so much (in a good way of course), how you can see squirrels quite regularly in your city. That must be amazing. Thanks so much for your comment 🙂

    • Thank you Inger! I appreciate your comment very much 🙂
The squirrels were very charming, and they seemed very aware of my presence. Fortunately, they didn’t seem too upset when I took a photo 😀
      Best wishes,
      Takami

    • Good evening dear Hervé,
Thank you very much for your comment 🙂
I’m happy you are excited for these squirrels. I hope they will have many new adventures. Wishing you a Happy Easter holiday too!
      Best wishes,
      Takami

  5. Oh, what a delightful surprise for you to see! I LOVE these two guys. So, so adorable! And how wonderful it would be to see the cherry blossoms! Our trees won’t blossom for weeks so I’m very much looking forward to seeing some of your shots. Wishing you and yours a very happy spring day, my friend! :)))

    • Hello Jeannie!
Thanks so much for your comments. It really was a special treat to see these guys peeking over from their ‘hiding spot’ at the zoo. Sometimes, the best moments come at unexpected times, and it was perfect timing – being in the right place at the right time 🙂 I can’t wait to see your blossom photographs, I know they’ll be wonderful, and it’ll give me something to look forward to!

I plan to post some cherry blossom snapshots next week. As you can imagine, just about everyone snaps cherry blossom photos this time of year, and there are already some *amazing* ones out there. I tried to make some shots that are both ‘traditional’ and also ‘something my own.’ I don’t know if I succeeded or not, but it was fun 🙂 Wishing you a happy remainder of the week!

    • こんばんは!コメントありがとうございます(^^)
      昨日、大好きな動物園で楽しい一日を過ごさせていただきました。桜も満開で最高の花見日和でした♡

    • Thank you! I just made the photo yesterday, it was a beautiful Spring day, and I decided to enjoy it at the zoo – as there are many cherry blossom trees there too. I wanted to snap some cherry blossoms, but this was truly an unexpected treat 🙂
      Best wishes,
      Takami

      • I’ve read the cherry blossom’s don’t last very long, so you were planning ahead. That is smart 🙂 I’ve only just begun to start thinking about possible photo op’s like in march when we have just a couple of days where the temperatures get down at night and in the morning there is a fog/ mist coming off the ground…

        • Yes, you’re right, cherry blossoms don’t last long, especially after rains & winds. I was very lucky to be able to visit the zoo & park on a lovely day. Although it’s April, the temperatures still go up-down, and it’s easy to catch a cold. So, I hope we can all remain healthy until it truly becomes Spring 🙂
