    • Hello Laura,
Thank you so much for stopping by, leaving a comment & also choosing to follow my humble site! Your site is one of the very first I’ve followed since joining the WP community, and your work always awes and inspires me 🙂 I’m very happy you enjoyed some of the cub images. Like all ‘kids’ their expressions are so vivid and change so much – I could watch them everyday and never get bored! Thanks again for the visit, and I hope you’re having a lovely weekend.

      Best wishes,

  1. Monsters one moment, angels the next. I’ll bet you almost feel like you need different lenses for each of their expressions. Lol. You do such a wonderful job of capturing every expression that I am just amazed. Kudos are just not enough to communicate my appreciation of your talent. Keep up the great work my friend, and make sure you also get in some time for you and yours, because if you are anything like me, there are times I begin to think my camera is surgically attached to my wrist. Lol.

    • Thank you so much my friend! I am always honoured by your generous comments. I agree, they were a handful, expressions always changing, I really felt like ‘switching’ to different lenses for each moment 😀 And thank you for the great advice. Yes, there are times when I must remember to put the camera down and enjoy the moment for what it is, and of course spend time with my better half 🙂 Hoping you’re having a great weekend.

  2. Gee, Mom sure was not messing around! And the size of those paws on those cubs are HUGE! What an adorable, precious series of pictures, Takami, that you captured for us. My guess that poor Mom is plum wore out, and just needs rest as much as possible. Yet kids they are clueless that Mom needs a time out or two. LOL Gorgeous shots, my friend. Love, Amy ❤

    • I think one of his siblings was about to pounce on him right at that moment 😀 It was so much fun watching them learn to be tigers. Even with their play-fighting. They were so small, still bumbling, to my human eyes, it looked like they were cuddling, LOL 😀

  3. こんにちは。

  4. Rasaritul incepe cu prima raza de soare…ploaia incepe cu prima roua…focul incepe de la prima scanteie…iar fericirea?…mereu de la primul zambet! …O seara frumoasa si linistita!
Dawn begins with the first ray of sunshine … rain … fire dew begins with the first start at first spark … and happiness? … Always the first smile! .. A beautiful evening and quiet!

  5. Oh so lovely, Takami! I just love to see “cats” play-flighting (love to watch my own do it). You’ve really captured them in their “cathood” — so wonderful! 🙂

    • Hello Deb,
Thanks so much for stopping by! It must be so much fun to see your cats play-fighting & being cats 😀 When I observed these ‘big cats’ I couldn’t help but smile all day 🙂 Hope you are having a good weekend. And of course C-Dog and all your family.

  6. Hello Takami! What a great series! Your timing was perfect—you captured so many different moods of these gorgeous animals. And every mama has her limits! :)) You’ve certainly got to draw the line when your kid decides to take a chunk out of your rear end! :))) Ha…ha! I’ve no doubt she’s a caring and gentle mother. Great captures, all of them. I love the expressions in each shot. You always succeed in conveying the beauty and complexity of these amazing creatures. As always, very nice work, my friend. Wishing you and your husband a very happy week! :))

    • Hello Jeannie! Thanks so much for stopping by! I’d never seen Mama Tiger have such a fierce expression before, not even when she had to ‘fend off’ the advantages of her partner (the cubs’ father!) when she was not in the mood 😀 The cub had taken many smaller ‘bites’ on her rump, and she patiently tried to shift her position & move out of harm’s way. But her cub was very persistent, and decided to take one big GLOMP. Even from a distance, I could feel that *this* bite must definitely hurt!! All of us trying to take photos winced 😀

I loved seeing all the different expressions and moments shared amongst each family member. I can’t wait till the next photo-safari trip to the zoo 🙂 Hope you’re having a perfect weekend.

  7. Such wonderful captures of these adorable, cutest white tiger cubs! Their life is all play right now, and learning new tricks 🙂 Thank you, dear Takami, for sharing the joy!

    • Thank *you* for your comment! ❤ It's my pleasure to share my observations of these beautiful animals with you. Like the Osprey family 'kids,' these cubs like to keep Mama busy 😀 I agree, it's a wonderful time for them.

    • Hello Sue! Thanks so much for stopping by ❤
I agree, I think their mother is very protective, and very patient 😀 Mama Tiger is very much well-liked and loved by all zoo fans. I'm delighted you enjoyed the photos. Hope you're having a wonderful and adventure-filled weekend!

  8. Good evening Takami.
They are so cute and when they play together
    true devils, I love them.
Thank you for these beautiful photos.
I wish you a good day.

    • Good evening dear Hervé,
Thank you very much for your comment! Yes, these cubs are so cute & full of energy. They are angels and they are devils – like all children! 🙂 Their mother is very patient and kind. I am happy you enjoyed these beautiful baby tigers!!

    • It was so much fun just observing them. I could watch them all day and never get bored – and never relax – because no one knew what they would try next! The wonderful qualities of all children 😀

    • Thank you Ken-san! I agree, this cub looked so cute and angelic in the first shot. But in the 2nd & 3rd shots, I tried to show how he (and his siblings) can be a real handful for Mama Tiger 😀

    • Thank you Maria! It means a lot.
I chose the title ‘Angels & Demons’ because in the first photo, the cub looks very innocent and cherub-like. But in the 2nd shot, you can see he can give his Mama a hard time. And in the 3rd, you see with his sibling, being a real handful (like all siblings) 😀 😀

    • Thank you Jeff! I couldn’t but laugh when I made this series. Because in the first shot, the cub looks so innocent & angelic, but in the following ones, you can see there is another side to him 😀
