You too! I look forward to seeing more of your photographs during this year.
I have been longing to visit your beautiful country ever since I saw the autumn images send by my friend, some 7 years back, while in Tokyo 🙂
These are irresistible images …
As ‘Randal’ mentioned, great to see you venturing into landscape photography and I am sure, we are in for a visual treat 🙂
Have a great time, Takami 🙂
Hello Sreejith,
Thank you for your visit and comment! Yes, it was my first attempts at “landscape” photography and I’m so humbled by the positive feedback. I am glad you enjoyed your visit to Tokyo, and hope you’ll have the opportunity to visit again. I also dream to visit your beautiful country someday.
Wishing you and your family all the best, and hope you have a good new year! 🙂
It’s been really a wonderful year for me, a real roller coaster one 🙂
I really thank you for your kinds words and encouragements and hope the year 2016 will be an even better one for all of us 🙂
Just gorgeous!
Thank you 🙂
Beautiful shots ! I love autumnal pictures 🙂
Thank you Gin! Sorry for my “silence” on the internet. It’s been a busy time. But I’ve been enjoying your recent adventures as always. Wishing you both a wonderful holiday season! ❤
Thank you ! I wish you a merry xmas ! (even if you probably don’t celebrate :-))
Beautiful pics!
Thank you! Wishing you and Choppy a wonderful holiday season 🙂
I like the colours of your Autumn, Takami san!
Thank you Rajiv-san! So happy you could stop by 🙂
I wanted to also add I’ve been to Japan once many years ago. Even seen from a distance, Fuji-san is a stunning reminder of the power and beauty Nature offers us and part of the reason this mountain is so revered by the people of Japan. Beautiful work, Takami.
I appreciate your comments so much. And I’m delighted you visited my country before. I agree, Fuji-san is a wonderful reminder of Nature. Each time I pass it, I feel unique emotions from within. Of course, I believe we all can share these experiences, as Nature amazes no matter which area of the world we’re from 🙂
Best wishes,
Takami
Yes, I have very fond memories of the short time I got to visit Japan. It was this time of year too, so the fall colors were very strong. You are quite right that Nature offers us beauty and amazement from all over the world. The trick for we humans is to stop, acknowledge that beauty, and find ways to express what we feel about it. You do this very well with your artwork, Takami.
Best wishes,
K’lee
Absolutely beautiful!
Thank you! 🙂
Sigh, how beautiful fall colors there are in Your lovely photos. I am glad that You showed them. Thank You.
Hello my dear friend Sartenada! Thank you for your comment. I am so happy you enjoyed these autumn colours. Nature is wonderful 🙂
Best wishes,
Takami
Takami – these photos are lovely – fall colours are always so beautiful. Love the red leaves.
Inger, I’m happy you enjoyed them 🙂 ❤ The leaves were very pretty this year.
beautiful and such a stunning view.
Hello Ruth 🙂
Thank you so much for stopping by and visiting.
I’m glad you enjoyed the autumn views.
Warm wishes,
Takami
These are just gorgeous Takami, thanks for sharing. Japan is just lovely!
Thank you Maria! So happy you enjoyed 🙂
Beautiful autumn colours!
Thank you so much! I’m happy you enjoyed 🙂
Love the lonely mountain. Such greatness! The red leaves in the third image are exquisite. Thank you for sharing!
Thank you, dear Inese for stopping by and commenting. I’m glad you enjoyed this autumn series. The mountain in the first shot is Mt. Fuji – our national symbol 🙂
Yes, I guessed that this is Mt. Fuji. Imagine those millions of people who have painted and photographed the mountain over the history? And she is still an inspiration, majestic and beautiful. Just amazing!
Stunning photos, Takami! Hugs 🙂
Thank you Teagan! So happy you could stop by and comment ❤
These three photographs are such an awesome summary of the brilliance of autumn ~ the depth of each shot (especially the contrast of your first shot and the far-reaching DOF versus your last shot and the narrow DOF) really make this a treasure – beautiful shot Takami. 🙂
Thank you Randall. I am humbled by all the positive feedback. It was my first time to try “landscape” photography (with no animals/people in the shots) and admittedly I was apprehensive about trying something different. But once again, photography reminds me how it’s great to get out of my comfort zone every now and then. Just like real life, haha! 🙂 Hope all is well, and that you’re not too busy.
It is great that you move out of your comfort zone and into another area of photography. The different set of emotions and feel that other areas of photography requires is why I enjoy it so much. Landscape is very relaxing for me, with patience and anticipation of what I can create, versus the more active street shoot or action shots. Animals and wildlife can be a good mix of these two. Wish you a great coming weekend. Take care ~
Gorgeous photos, Takami. I really like the autumnal colors in the latter photos, especially the light coming through the maple leaves…but a look at stately Mt. Fuji was my favorite.
Thank you Jet! I was thrilled to be able to get the Mt. Fuji shot. All the more so since it was a little different from the “usual” views we’re so used to seeing (at least in my humble opinion). It was a wonderful – and fun – photo safari trip 🙂
Beautiful autumn colours!
Autumn was very beautiful this year 🙂 I’m happy you enjoyed!
I especially like the final shot! Lovely selective focus.
Thank you so much! My husband liked the 3rd shot too 🙂
It was my first time to try something different, and I’m humbled and grateful for the positive response. I hope you are having a good weekend.
Takami 🙂
Great shots!
Thank you Nina ❤ So happy you could stop by and comment 🙂
It seems you've been very busy and productive these past months.
Autumn is almost over now, so we're looking forward to the long winter…
XOXO
What beautiful photos, Takami! Lovely!
Thank you Deb! So happy you could stop by 🙂
Hi Takami. Is that Mt Fuji in the first photo? I saw it while stationed in Misawa in 1970. Japan had the Winter Olympics in Sapporo that year. I saw it from my plane flying over the mountain on the way there. Your Autumn photos remind me of mine here in Uxbridge. Very beautiful!
Hello Bob,
Yes, it is Mt. Fuji in the first photo! I think you are the first person to have recognized it 🙂 Although I have never climbed it, I have passed it a few times and it’s always a wonderful view. I was in Shizuoka prefecture on the weekend these photos were made, and the leaves were beautiful. I immediately thought of Uxbridge and you. Thank you so much for stopping by and commenting.
Takami 🙂
Ah just outstanding!
Thank you Mr. Nico! Blessings to you and your family!
And to you and yours! Peace.
Breathtaking colors and landscapes, Takami! So peaceful.
Thank you Tiny! Best wishes to you and the Osprey family 🙂 ❤
Oh, Takami! What a magnificent set of autumn photos! The blazing red autumn maples are truly stunning. We don’t have that much red here in our autumns, just the odd splash of it here and there, so it’s such a treat to see your fabulous shots. The red maple leaves are spectacular. I love all your shots, but I particularly like the one with the leaves in sharp focus giving way to a soft background. I also love the golden fields with the mountain peak rising in the distance. These wonderful shots display autumn in it’s full glory and splendor. I’m so glad I still get to see autumn through your lens as our autumn here in Calgary has definitely left us—all of our colour has been stripped away by the wind and cold, and all the deciduous trees have gone to sleep in their nakedness. Wonderful post, my friend. Sending you many good wishes. :))
Thank you Jeannie! I know Calgary has glorious nature, so it means a lot that you enjoyed this little mini-series. I happened to be in Shizuoka when these photos were made, and it’s Mt. Fuji you see in the background of the first shot. I didn’t expect to have an opportunity to see fall foliage this year so it was a real treat. There’s a lot I’d like to update you (if you don’t mind, of course!) and I’ll be sending you a separate mail soon 🙂 As always, please give our best to your partner and the Danbo Brothers 😀
I always enjoying hearing from you, my friend! :)) And the Danbo Brothers send their regards! :))
Wow, absolutely beautiful scenes, Takami!
Lindy
Thank you Lindy! So happy you could stop by 🙂
I don’t know what to say, your pictures have left me breathless. Absolutely beautiful. The peacefulness and tranquility they convey is just amazing. Kudos my friend.
Thank you, my friend. With all that continues to happen in human societies, it always amazes me how Nature continues to show us all her glory. I appreciate so much your comment, and thank you for stopping by.
I like these, Takami. You took a different direction here, and it works well. I especially like the top image of the mountain on the horizon. The clouds add a great element of depth between the field and mountain. Very nicely captured!
Thank you very much Jeff. You’re right, I tried to do something different, and I admit to feeling apprehensive at first. But I’m humbled at the overall positive response this little series has been getting. And am reminded it’s important to work outside the ‘comfort zone.’ 🙂 I am so happy you enjoyed the first shot. The mountain is actually our national symbol Mt. Fuji. I liked this shot, because it seemed different from the ‘usual’ Mt. Fuji shots, and that most folks may not realize until they look more closely 😉 I loved the clouds and golden fields as well. Again, thank you so much for your feedback. I hope all is well with you and your family.
Wow, three splendid photographs, the autumn is superb at home.
Thank you very much dear Takami.
Thank you, my dear friend. Autumn gave us many moments of glory. I am very happy you enjoyed the photos.
Mesmerizing! Beautiful captures, Takami… 🙂

All three photos are textbook beautiful!
Thank you, kind Sir! I’m honoured you enjoyed them.
Stunning photos! 🙂
Thank you so much 🙂
Beautiful scenic pictures. Thanks for sharing, they are an enjoyment.
Thank you so much. With all the craziness going on in the world (and I will refrain from getting on the soapbox!), it amazes me that Nature can find a way to keep moving on.
I especialy love the third one!
Thank you! It was one of my personal favourites too 🙂
Breathtakingly beautiful, as always! 🙂
Thank you, Doctor V.
So glad you could stop by and comment. It means a lot 🙂
