    • 返事遅くなって申し訳ありません。何故かスパムフォルダに行ってしまったようです。大変遅くなりましたが明けましておめでとうございます。今年もどうぞよろしくお願い致します。

    • Hello Lis, Happy New Year! 🙂 ❤
Thank you so much for stopping by and for your lovely comments. I hope 2016 will bring good things for all of us! I plan to post some more bird photos soon 😉

  1. The lighting and colors of this tree (a Japanese Maple I think ~ we had them in our backyard growing up!)…wishing you an incredible and happy 2016, the best to you and your family.

  2. 今年は、仲良くしていただき、ありがとうございました。
    来年も、宜しくお願いいたします。
    良いお年をお迎えください:D

  3. La Multi Ani 2016— Happy New Year 2016

Gândiţi-vă la trecerea dintre ani ca la o poartă. Puteţi să treceţi prin această poartă în noul an şi să luaţi cu voi doar lucrurile şi gândurile bune. LA MULŢI ANI!
Consider the passage of years as a target. You can go through this gate into the new year and to take with you only good things and thoughts. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

  4. What a beautiful photograph, Takami! Love the message as well. Wishing you and yours a very Happy New Year! Hard to believe it’s time for another one to roll in … 🙂

      • Hello, Takami! Yes, I know, I looked at the calendar yesterday and thought, “Geesh! It can’t be!” LOL Hope you’re having a good start to the new year, a nice productive and creative one. I’m hoping to get more writing done this year — and reading (books). 🙂 We’re all hanging in there, trying to stay warm. Our kitty with the kidney issue seeks warmth — my lap — which has a nice benefit for me, too. 🙂 Take care! Deb

  5. Stunning photo, Takami! No matter what, it is my firm belief that there is always, always hope to be found. Wishing you many happy moments that turn into many, many happy days. May the New Year be filled with the beginnings of many long held dreams—I have a feeling that the new year will bring us all many good things. Sending you and your husband many warm wishes. :)))

    • Hello Jeannie! Happy New Year :)))
Thank you so much for your warm wishes! I hope 2016 will continue to bring us closer to our dreams, and give us continued health, happiness and love. Hopefully, I’ll try and get some birdie shots…real birdies! ;)))

  6. Hello my precious friend, and creator of heartwarming pictures that never fail to cheer my day. It’s that crazy holiday time of the year again which probably accounts for why no one has seen a change at my site for well over a week. I tend to withdraw into myself at this time of the year and it takes something as special as a message from a friend such as yourself to have any hope at all of drawing me out. So here I am, and I thank you for the lovely message and sincerely hope you realize that even in my self-imposed silence, you and yours are never far from my thoughts, and my thoughts are always filled with only the very best of things for you, both now and in the brand-new year that will soon be upon us. So please take care of yourselves, be at rest and as content as this world will allow. I shall do the same and hope to hear from you when things settle down. Until then, Peace, and goodwill unto men sounds as good now as it ever has.

    • Dear friend,
Happy New Year, and thank you so very much for your warm message. Likewise, you are in our thoughts and prayers too. Personally, hubby and I prefer to “withdraw” and focus within. Not to be self-centered, but to prevent from be dragged along with all the extra noise that comes along with the holidays. In my humble opinion, I think holidays (in most modern, well-to-do countries) have lost much of their true meaning: to appreciate what we have, enjoy for what it is. To enjoy the moment without all the fuss and marketing and greed.

We wish for you only good things, much blessings and health. I’ll be in touch again soon, but just wanted to say thank you for your message, and here’s to another great year 🙂

    • Hello Hervé,
      明けましておめでとうございます!Happy New Year!
I thank you so much for your warm friendship last year, and hope for another great year in 2016 🙂 Best wishes always.

  7. Merry Christmas Takami! I have really had fun this past year exchanging our ideas about our photos, and look forward to doing it all the more in 2016. You have an eye for working with natural light — I’d love to see how you put that to work in photos of people. Best wishes for you and your family! Jeff

    • Hello Jeff,

Thank you so much for your lovely message last month It really was so much fun sharing and exchanging our thoughts on photography and I always enjoy learning something new from your work. I really hope to have more opportunities to photograph people this year, it will be exciting 🙂
I hope 2016 brings continued health, happiness and all good things for you and your family. Here’s to another great year ahead!

      Best wishes,
      Takami
