  1. Hi Takami. I have been away from my blogging except for a few reposts. I have missed your pictures. I am trying to go through my emails and trying to catch up. I hope to be back on posting again soon. Hope all is well with you and yours. 🙂

    • Thank you Mr. Sartenada.
I am happy to visit your site and learn more about your beautiful country and her Nature.

I am happy you liked this photo.
Today, I will show another photo of this bird (soon) 🙂

  2. Hello dear Takami! As always, a fabulous shot – one that shows nature in its full glory as each life form finds its place in the Greater Web of Life. I understand your mixed feelings but I have come to place of not feeling sad about how nature plays itself out. For me, there is a much, much broader picture to it all which is beautiful and balanced. But that is a philosophical discussion for another time, perhaps! I hope you and yours are both doing well. I think of you often and send you many warm thoughts. ~ Jeannie :))

    • Hello my dear friend! Absolutely – I know what you mean and do feel the same too. It would be grand to have many philosophical discussions on this 🙂 🙂 Thinking of you too!

  3. The precision of your shot reminds me once again why you rate as one of my favorite photographers of all time. Absolutely amazing my friend, and well worth the wait. Best wishes to you and yours.

    • Thank you my friend. I’m humbled by your kind words. I adore these birds (while also not forgetting the reality and what the crayfish went through…) but also respect the harsh reality of nature. Your most recent posts make me ponder even more the reality for so many people. Thank *you* for sharing your thoughtful and thought-provoking work. Our best wishes and prayers to you too.

    • Thank you Mr. Hien. Yes, the Kingfisher will swallow the crayfish (after dismantling the claws). It brought mixed emotions in me. Yes, we humans admire the beauty of the Kingfisher (while the crayfish is dull in comparison), but made me ponder the “rules” of Nature – how (why?) one life must perish for another to live…

But I will stop rambling 🙂 As always, I appreciate your comments.

  4. こんばんは(●^o^●)
