  2. Absolutely beautiful shot my friend. Considering how long I’ve been away, this was a wonderful shot to come back to. Did you have to ask the bird to make several passes before you got just the right capture, or are you really a first-time-every time photographer? OK, I may be kidding around with you, but that is a seriously great photograph, and about that I’m not kidding.

    • Hello my friend!
Thanks so much for your kind words. I am very happy you could stop by.
For this shot, this bird made just “one” pass for us. She was a female Kingfisher (though it’s almost impossible to tell from this photo), and like most strong ladies, had a mind of her own and didn’t care about photographers’ needs 😉

Me too, kidding aside – I hope you have been doing well as the cold weather approaches. My husband and I send you our best wishes.

    • こんにちは!嬉しいコメントを頂きありがとうございます。

      撮影方法ですが、カワセミが出て来るのをひたすら待っていてチャンスを狙ってシャッターを押してただけです。:D

    • Thanks a lot for your comment and apologies for my belated reply.
To answer your question: no, I didn’t have to manipulate the photo. The bird flew across the pond towards the shadows, and everything came together. Nature is really amazing 🙂
