Beautiful photo!
Thank you very much! 🙂
I’ve been missing your posts lately! Has my name dropped off your followers list? 😦
Hello my friend! It’s lovely to hear from you. Apologies for the radio silence — I am far behind on replying to comments (I’ve been away from the internet).
My most “recent” post was on February 1:

I can’t seem to access my “followers” list, but I believe you are still subscribed to my blog? I really appreciate that you reached out. I hope you are doing well and enjoying Spring!
Best,
Takami
That’s a relief. I do notice when I don’t hear from blog buddies for a while! I hope you are OK. Hopefully I won’t miss any more of your posts!

I know it has been a while but it is just recently I am getting back into blogging the way I used to. My life has been a wee bit bumpy and was taking all of my focus. Hopefully things will stay calm so that I can get around to my friends blogs like I used to. 😊
Dear Amy,
You are always welcome to “stop by” and please don’t ever feel pressed to comment or like. I have been following your story and know it has been a roller-coaster of a time. As they say, real life comes first – and genuine friends will always be here no matter the passage of time 🙂 All our best to you and your family ❤

こんばんは!コメント有難うございます^^
この日はかなり寒かったので、小鳥達もふっくら丸くなってて可愛かったです♡♡
I like the composition and the colors in this photo. The colors on the bird and its surroundings go very well together.
Thank you Hien-san. I loved how this fellow gave just the right burst of colour against the “grey” environment. I think he enjoyed the attention from admiring photographers and birdwatchers 🙂
Very enjoyable, beautiful photo. Thank You.
Thank you Mr. Sartenada 🙂
This bird only visits Japan in winter. Therefore, I’m very excited to see him 🙂
So beautiful bird ! 😉
Thank Takami ! 🙂
Thank you always, my friend ❤
Another beautiful shot!
Thank you Sylvie 🙂 He is a handsome bird 😀
Such a cheerful splash of color! 🙂
Hello Tanja 🙂
Yes, this male Daurian redstart provided a moment of pure joy when he made a brief appearance against the leafless trees. He really did brighten up the area!
The little orange bird is starkly beautiful against the grey background!
Thank you Josh! I also thought this little guy provided a beautiful contrast to the grey colours of winter. He was a handsome fellow, and I think he knew it 🙂
Is that a Robin Takami? It certainly is beautiful, and I have to agree with the first gentleman who commented on how well your photo enlarged; crystal clear and subject-focused. Kudos.
Hello my friend! This is a male Daurian Redstart (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daurian_redstart), or “joubitaki” as we say in Japanese. They only stay here during winter, so it’s a real treat to get a glimpse of them!
I have to tell you, you have the most beautiful words in Japanese. A wonderful language (and that’s coming from an English Literature major). Thank-you for the identification though, I really did think it was a type of (Japanese?) Robin, so at least I’ll be able to learn a little more about it now, in addition to what you’ve already shared. Thank-you again, and you and yours stay well.
That enlarges beautifully
Hello Derrick,
