    • Thank you Jet! I am so glad you liked it. Apologies for the delayed reply; I’ve been away from the internet for some time. I will be catching up on comments soon. I hope you & Athena are doing well.

      • I know it has been a while but it is just recently I am getting back into blogging the way I used to. My life has been a wee bit bumpy and was taking all of my focus. Hopefully things will stay calm so that I can get around to my friends blogs like I used to. 😊

        • Dear Amy,
You are always welcome to “stop by” and please don’t ever feel pressed to comment or like. I have been following your story and know it has been a roller-coaster of a time. As they say, real life comes first – and genuine friends will always be here no matter the passage of time 🙂 All our best to you and your family ❤

    • Thank you Hien-san. I loved how this fellow gave just the right burst of colour against the “grey” environment. I think he enjoyed the attention from admiring photographers and birdwatchers 🙂

  1. Is that a Robin Takami? It certainly is beautiful, and I have to agree with the first gentleman who commented on how well your photo enlarged; crystal clear and subject-focused. Kudos.

      • I have to tell you, you have the most beautiful words in Japanese. A wonderful language (and that’s coming from an English Literature major). Thank-you for the identification though, I really did think it was a type of (Japanese?) Robin, so at least I’ll be able to learn a little more about it now, in addition to what you’ve already shared. Thank-you again, and you and yours stay well.
