very nice pic. congrats !
Thanks 🙂
you’re welcome😊
This one was funny, how do you capture these images would be my real question, anyways great to see them.
Hello my Frosty friend 🙂
Thank you for your comment. I’m glad you liked these sparrows — it’s always fun to observe them.
To answer your question: patience, a sense of humour and luck is how I get the images 😀
Great answer, thanks.
Yes!
🙂
Sparrows always seem to be happy 🙂 Living in communities one cannot be grumpy and angry. They always communicate with each other and easy learn to accept food from humans. Love their cheerfulness. Beautiful picture, Takami! 🙂
Thank you Inese! I completely agree with your comment ❤ 😀
❤
Simple pleasures provide the greatest joy. For the sparrows, the playing and drinking. Form us, watching them in the act.
Yes, it’s true about the “simple pleasures” in life that often bring the greatest joy. Thank you for your visit and comment.
These lively sparrows never fail to make me smile, Takami. Your photo did, too!
Thank you Tanja! I’m glad they brought a smile to your face 🙂
very happy indeed!
Thanks for stopping by, Ken-san 🙂
no worries, you are most, reminds me of the birds and the rain puddles after the rains near my home, they get to bath and look extremely happy
Oh, how lovely idea and beautiful photo. Happy moments – yes indeed.
Happy Sunday!
Thank you, Mr. Matti, for your nice comment 🙂
We had a big typhoon that hits our area. But, we survived safely. And, wild birds were singing this morning. Therefore, I was happy they are safe too.
Wish you and your wife a great week!
I am happy for You and them.
I agree that sparrows are really beautiful! Thank you for sharing this moment of pure happiness, Takami ❤
Thank you for enjoying this moment, and for stopping by and commenting. It means a lot. And sparrows are indeed so beautiful ❤
Great shot, this looks like a perfect way to spend a weekend ~ outside, with friends and going for a swim. Sparrows know how to live life properly 🙂
Thank you Randall.
Oh yes, we humans could learn a thing or two from sparrows (and wildlife) about living properly and living in the moment (sigh). These guys had a grand time splashing around, as if they had no other care in the world.
Unfortunately, our weekend was spent at the mercy of a typhoon – the biggest to hit our area in years. I think it was the first time my husband & I really felt afraid – the winds were howling and our house was shaking. Fortunately we made it through in one piece 🙂 Hope you have a great week ahead.
Very good to know the typhoon did not affect you too much, I saw some of the footage this weekend and it was amazing how much damage it did ~ the winds were something else. Wishing you better weather for October, and take care ~
These little sparrows may be common, but they’re a joy to watch! Always bouncing around and chasing each other.
Yes, it’s exactly as you say! And I think they are very tough and resilient too.
You’re my favourite artist ❤️
Thank you for your nice comment ❤ 🙂
It’s true dear ❤️
That sure looks inviting!
Yes, I would have loved to jump in and join them! But I’m pretty sure my presence would not be appreciated, therefore decided to admire these sparrows from a distance 🙂
Beautiful sparrows. ❤
Thank you ❤ I hope they brought a smile to you.
Hi Takami, nice shot.
Hi Melinda, thanks for your visit and nice comment 🙂
You cannot help but smile when a bird is drinking or bathing! Adorable capture!
Thank you! Watching them brought a big smile to my face. The people around me probably thought there was something wrong with me! 😀
I get that all the time! LOL Even from my dear husband who supports and tolerates my hobby, still sometimes he’s like, “what’s the big deal?”. A birder knows what the big deal is! 😉
Ah yes, I completely understand!! I’m relieved to know I am not along 🙂 😀 Your husband seems a wonderful person (and vice versa) 🙂 My husband & I are fortunate enough to share many same hobbies (including birding) but even he gives me a “look” when I’m twitching from too much happiness, LOL 😀
What a fantastic photo – the shimmer of the water, the drops where the sparrow is bathing, the seed in the beak – they are really having a grand time!
Thank you Noelle. The small details came together to create a really nice shot. This particular group really seemed to be enjoying themselves and that made it even better 🙂
I hope you and your family are doing well, and hopefully things are calming down after the storm.
Woooow !!!!
Lovely picture !!! ❤ ❤ ❤
👍👍👍
Thank you ❤ ❤
I hope you have a good day 😀
All the vest, my dear ! 🤗 😘
This is a happy picture indeed! Beautiful capture, down to the drops of water being flickered around.
Thank you Mr. Hien. They really seemed to be enjoying themselves and fully in the moment. It was a happy bunch – adults and adolescents together – and wonderful bird therapy for the soul 🙂
How beautiful these birds are!! Awesome shot 🙂 Beautiful nature makes us happy and complete!
Thank you for your comment. They really seemed to be enjoying themselves and living in the moment. It was great “bird therapy” for the soul 🙂
So lovely. They really do look like happy little birds. Hugs.
Thank you Teagan 🙂
They were a lovely group of both adults and adolescents. They seemed to be enjoying the late afternoon hours 🙂
Really beautiful. I love the gentleness of these birds.
Thank you so much for your comment. I feel that sparrows are so beautiful, yet often overlooked because they might seem “common.” They are pretty amazing birds!
Yes indeed! Part of God’s creation. 🙂
Beautiful composition 😊
Thank you! ❤
Sparrows are beautiful birds, and it was a happy moment 🙂
😊
For the audience as well. Thank’s for sharing the happiness.
Thank you!
Sparrows are – in my opinion & personal observations – often taken for granted because they are considered “common.” However I feel they are so beautiful, resilient (they can adapt to pretty much anywhere) and tough.
