  1. Amazing image of the Kingfisher, Takami. It looks very steady on that branch, like it’s on top of the world and having a look around. As Hien said, the bokeh is exceptional and brings the bird in focus very well. Excellent work 🙂

    • Thank you Mabel! ❤
This little guy seemed to full of anticipation for adventure and the next stage in his life. He had a mild personality — he didn't seem to mind "posing" for the photographers and birdwatchers. It was a lovely atmosphere, and everyone felt the joy and beauty of nature 🙂 (By the way, I'm so glad you like Mr. Hien's work. I love his photography too!)

    • Thank you Noelle ❤
I'm very happy to have had some good luck with Kingfishers these past few weeks. I plan to share more in upcoming posts…I just hope folks won't get tired of them! 🙂

    • Thank you! I’ve been on a Kingfisher marathon (they’ve been very cooperative! Probably because the “models” are juvenile birds, and haven’t tired of being ogled at by geeky photographers…yet) I was very happy this young fellow decided to strut his stuff on the runway 😀

  2. So wonderful. I just read that your work was not to be used without asking and I have reblogged some of your wonderful pictures without your permission. I’m so very sorry, my friend. It won’t happen again. ❤ Your bird is beautiful. Thank you.

    • Thank you my friend, for your nice comment and visit ❤ (Sorry for my late reply)
I'm very happy you enjoy my photographs, and you are welcome to re-blog. I truly appreciate that you took the time to ask ❤ ❤

      Best wishes,
      Takami

    • Thank you Mr. Hien! I’m very happy you like this photo, twice happy that you enjoyed the composition. It was late afternoon, and perfect to play around (and utilise) some bokeh. I also wanted to try and show the Kingfisher from a different angle. I’ve been fortunate to have some Kingfisher photo sessions, and hope to share more in the coming months/weeks ahead 🙂
