Love these ‘reflections’ Takami ! You have captured the peace and beauty of this moment perfectly ❤
Thank you my friend! ❤
I'm so grateful that this young Kingfisher was so tolerant 🙂
I think they trust you, Takami 🙂 You have been able to capture so many gorgeous pictures of them!
I am blown away! Just blown away by these images! Gorgeous and perfect captures, Takami! Now darn it next Spring I must find that Kingfisher that has been avoiding me to show you. They are such wondrous birds, aren’t they? Incredible photography!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Thank you, Amy! You’re too kind ❤ 😀
I agree, Kingfishers are wondrous and amazing birds indeed. I do look forward to your Kingfisher photos come Spring. I know you'll get some amazing shots 🙂 😀
Birds for me are not easy. I suppose it just takes practice so come next Spring, I will practice. We’ll see what happens then. 😁
Beautiful and adorable and you captured it wonderfully!
Thank you dear Resa!
I had hoped to express both the adorable-ness (as this Kingfisher was still quite young) and the refined beauty that he had the potential for. I appreciate your comment & visit ❤
Best wishes,
Takami
What a beautiful bird! Love that blue colour. And photo is great with the reflection in the water – superb!
xoxo Inger
Hello Inger,
Thank you very much for stopping by!
I’m happy you enjoyed the photos. These 2 shots were like a dream come true. And this young Kingfisher was a lovely “model” for the photo shoot 🙂
Sweet Kingfisher reflecting just nicely 🙂 Superb photographs, Takami! He gave you such a great opportunity. Aren’t you friends after all. I think he is already used to your presence, and feels safe. Congratulations on the great photos!
Thank you dear Inese ❤
I was so grateful to the little guy, he blessed me with a wonderful opportunity.
It sounds silly, but I felt so emotional, I almost teared up😢😂
Oh I am not surprised. This is a unique picture.
Very beautiful photos
Thank you 🙂
It reflects such amazing tranquility, Takami.
Thank you Jolandi. Really appreciate it.

It’s like the bird was aware of the beauty of the surroundings but it’s all your making. Truly stunning, including the blurred background😊
Thank you Sylvie ❤
I "dreamed" of this moment for some years… I was so happy when the opportunity finally arrived 😀 And this young bird had a mild and friendly personality too 🙂
🙂
Amazing !!! 👍
Thank you my friend! ❤ 😀
Your beautiful photos made me smile, Takami. I think this handsome guy was fully aware of his appeal, and eager to be admired by an international crowd. 🙂
Thank you Tanja. I think it helped that this was a young bird, so still eager for some attention while being a step away from independence 😉 Papa Bird was actually not too far away, keeping watch on “junior” just in case 😀
So very lovely. You are such a wonderful artist.
Thank you my friend ❤ It means a lot.
I am thrilled by the warm reception to these 2 images.
And this young Kingfisher is a lovely fellow too 🙂
So wonderful! I love these.
Thank you so much and many blessings!
🙂
Absolutely stunning Takami! This little blue bit of life is exquisite and you’ve done an amazing job capturing the moment and the reflection. What a talent you have!
Thank you so much Noelle ❤
I'm humbled by the warm reception. This young Kingfisher was a wonderful "model" and a very mellow young fellow! I was dreaming for such a long time to make these 2 images, I nearly forgot to press the shutter when the opportunity finally presented itself (!).
Wishing you and your family a very Happy Thanksgiving holiday 🙂
Beautiful! That calm water serves as the perfect mirror!
Thank you Josh!
I was dreaming and hoping to make these 2 images for a very long time. When the opportunity presented itself, I almost forgot to take the photo – because I was enjoying the moment so much, LOL 😀
This little guy was the perfect model, he knew he was being admired, I think 🙂
Haha, he was probably a male model in his past life.
Amazing, beautiful captures Takami! Love everything about them!! Well done!!
Thank you Donna! ❤ ❤
This little guy was a splendid model! It helped that the surroundings cooperated beautifully as well 😀
I love everything about this wonderful scene. The contrast between the small bird and the large rock and his grand surroundings… The colors… The lighting… His contemplative pose. Beautiful composition.
Thank you 🙂

So beautiful!
Thank you! Much appreciated 🙂
Two stunning, beautiful shots!
Thank you Mr. Hien. I’ve been dreaming and hoping to make these shots for such a long time…it’s like a dream come true.
These are really awesome pictures!
Regards, Franz
Thank you very much Franz!
I appreciate it 🙂
Kind regards, Takami
Exquisite.
Thank you so much Carol ❤ Much appreciated. These 2 photos were "images" that I've been hoping to make for some years. Recently, this young Kingfisher granted my wish 🙂 I am so grateful to the little guy.
Thank you so much for sharing this background story, Takami. Your attention to the beauty around you and the patience you practice waiting for the right moment are inspiring. Most amazing, though, is the intention to bring forth work that celebrates life in such creative, exquisite works of art.
It’s my pleasure, and I’m so happy you had an interest in the “background” story. As you know, sometimes it takes months or years for the right moment to present itself. I was ‘dreaming’ of this image for so long, that when this young Kingfisher cooperated beautifully, I nearly forgot to snap the photo…because I was enjoying the moment too much 😀
During these challenging times globally, sometimes, I feel we need to turn towards Nature and simply observe…
