I am slowly learning that how we process our images can also add another layer to the story we hope to convey 😀 These “mejiro” white-eye birds are usually very hyper and rarely stay still. It was especially cold this day, and these 2 stayed huddled closely for warmth 😀

These two lovebirds are Warbling white-eyes (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Warbling_white-eye). They are beautiful (but fast-moving) birds and aften challenging for me to photograph. However, this day was very cold, and these 2 decided to stay together for warmth 🙂
They are so sweet ❤ We don't have these birds here. It is precious that they sit so close to each other. I don't see it often. Beautiful shot, congratulations! 🙂

This is lovely! The whitewashed colors add a touch of elegance as well.
Many thanks! We all love to see birds in their full colour glory, but this scene reminded me of classic black-and-white films. So, I wanted to “keep it simple” and make it monochrome. I’m happy you liked it 🙂
I did like it! I get bored when photographers take too many monochrome photos, but when used sparingly they add a touch of elegance.
