What a beautiful moment! You captured it perfectly.
Thank you ❤
It was the first time I saw Little grebes taking care of their young. Both Mama and Papa Bird were very diligent – it was quite emotional and touching…
Parenting is the same for all species 🙂 The moments like this give us an idea about how similar the children of Earth actually are.
A lovely moment, beautifully captured.
Thank you very much 🙂
It’s a busy time for birds, and photos of parents feeding chicks are everywhere… I hoped to show an intimate moment in my own way 🙂
Beautiful pics.
Thank you, much appreciated.
These photos are BEAUTIFUL, Takami! What lens did you use?
Thank you Hannah! Much appreciated 🙂
I use a Nikon D750 with a Tamron 150-600mm for most of my bird shots.
These birds are Little grebes. They are pretty amazing waterbirds:

Bonding moment perfectly captured, Takami. The two birds looked like they were very into each other, and hope it was a happy ending for the both of them 🙂 ❤
Thank you Mabel 🙂
I loved the expressions of the parent and chick. Both the father and mother raise their young, so it was wonderful to see this Little Grebe family. There are 5 chicks in total, and they are all growing quickly! Mama and Papa bird are doing a great job 🙂
Beautiful my dear talented friend.
Thank you my friend! ❤
My pleasure.🌷❤️
They are adorable, Takami.
Thank you Jolandi ❤
When the chicks are even younger, they ride on the backs of the parents. It is an adorable moment, although I have yet to see it with my own eyes.
However, I was so happy to witness these moments. It felt very tender and intimate 🙂
Aww! Your work is extraordinary. I’ve been coaxing Basil (my hubby) to take interest in wildlife and bird photography. 🙂
Thank you so much! ❤
I am sure Basil would make wonderful photos of wildlife and birds 😀
Best wishes,
Takami
Oh wow, Takami! These are incredible! What kind of ducks are these? I do not recognize them. But OH how they are precious! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Thank you dear Amy!

はい、とっても可愛かったです 😀
Amazing! It’s so nice watching young animals with their parents.
Thank you Josh! Little grebes are beautiful and “cute” (even the adults!), but it was really special to see moments like this. And, Mama & Papa Little Grebe are very vigilant in protecting their young 🙂
I appreciate your stopping by during a busy time.
It’s always special to witness tender moments like those, because life in the wild is normally harsh 🙂
Yes, you’re absolutely right 🙂
いつも優しさあふれる写真。

I loved both the parent and the chick’s expressions…such beautiful birds.
Hello my friend…I noticed your Do not use notice…I was thinking maybe you should make your copyright larger that way it would be harder for someone to steal from you. Your photos are always so amazing and beautiful 🙂
Thank you dear friend, for your helpful suggestions ❤
I am seriously considering to make the "copyright" larger, or use watermarks. The reason I have refrained from doing so, is because I didn't want to distract from the image. But I am starting to believe more and more that it's a necessity.
The only reason I brought said anything is your images are so amazing and people will steal them. If you decide to increase your watermark you could make a faint logo to drop over the entire image or copy write it when you name the file using the (c) symbol. I had a problem with this too and I decided that I could make more and if people really did want to steal they were going to so I had to let it go if I wanted to share online. I’m thinking of Oscar Wilde’s quote ” Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery that mediocrity can pay to greatness.” That helped when I realized this. ❤ Hugs to you my friend.
I completely understand what you mean! I will certainly look into it ❤
❤ Oh good. Keep up the awesome work 🙂
Queste fotografie sono veramente belle.
Sono questi uccelli giapponesi?
Ringrazio Google che mi ha tradotto dall’italiano.
Buona giornata.
