You, are an amazing photographer!
Thank you so much for your kind words! 🙂
Absolutely!
and I am not taking about just one pic.
Many thanks for your kind comments 🙂
I always appreciate your visit. I’m happy you enjoyed the photos.
Your work is amazing
Kudos.
Hello Takami.
Lovely family! I love Your photo very much. Thank You.
BTW, today Crown Prince Akishino and Crown Princess Kiko visit my country.
Hello Mr. Matti,
Thank you for your visit! I am very happy you like this small family. They were very charming 🙂
Yes, it was a great honour that the Crown Prince and Princess visited your beautiful country!!
Such a lovely capture, Takami! A mother’s love is so precious and your shot conveys this wonderfully! Of course, the little ones are absolutely adorable! ❤
Thank you Donna! I’m thrilled the shot conveyed the dynamics of mama bird and her ducklings. And I loved how a duckling right next to her seemed to imitate her actions 😀
You have an OBSCINE fasination with birds….. Which with the good picture you are turning me to an obscene pirot.
Thank you, my frosty friend 😉
I always enjoy your brutal honesty and witty writings 😀
Beautiful picture of mama-protector. I like the way they communicate. One short warning sound, and the little ones will flee away. Enjoyed visiting your blog, as always ❤
I also loved how one little bird (next to Mama) seemed to imitate her actions and stretch his neck high to stay on alert 😀
Thank you for your warm comments as always ❤
What a lovely family! Great shot!
Thank you Sylvie! 🙂
😍😍😍😍😍😍
ありがとうございます!
Very artistic! The ducklings, of course, are adorable. And the mother is suitably in control!
Thank you! 😀 🙂
It works very well with the shadow!!
Hello Simone,
Thank you very much for your comment!
I am happy you liked this photo.
Best wishes,
Takami
stunning
Thank you 🙂
Absolutely exquisite Takami. I love the mother watching over her little ones, and I love the natural browns. What lens did you use, if I my ask?
Thank you Hannah.
Mama Duck is a wonderful mum. I use a Tamron 150-600m lens for most of my bird photos. It helps me keep a respectful distance and protect their private space 🙂
That’s very helpful, Takami. Thank you. I only have a 55-200mm at the moment and it’s not adequate for the birds around the lake. I’m hoping to get a longer range telephoto lens in a few months. 🙂
Do you use a tripod? Or is your hand steady enough with that weight?
I don’t use a tripod. Many of the newer telephoto lenses are quite light, fortunately.
That is wonderful to hear. They used to be extremely heavy.
Such a touching photo, Takami. Mom will do anything to protect her precious babies.
Thank you very much, dear Tanja ❤
It is just as you say. And, I couldn't help but laugh when the little duckling next to her was mimicking Mama Duck and be "on guard." She has taught them well! 😀
Love the earth tone colors! Mama had her eye on you 🙂
Thank you!
Yes, Mama had her eye on me, and I kept a respectful distance 🙂
I also loved how the little one next to her was trying to do the same 😀
Exquisite photo. I love how the gentle light adds warmth and depth. ❤
Thank you Carol ❤
Like all good parents, Mama Duck was very alert and aware of her surroundings. I couldn't help but laugh when the little duckling tried to "mimic" his mother and protect the family. She taught them well! 😀
So beautiful.
Thank you so much! And God bless 🙂
God bless you two!
I love this so much. So much. Just beautiful and sweet.
Thank you so much. I had hoped you would see this. Thank you 🙂
Beautiful, lovely photo!
Thank you Mr. Hien!
The little duckling mimicking his Mum made me laugh 😀
Awww so sweet I think she’s showing her babies to you. How precious. I love little baby ducks! Excellent my friend ❤
Thank you Michelle Marie ❤
Like all good mothers, she was very alert and suspicious. I loved how the small duckling was mimicking his Mum 🙂
