  1. I missed this post earlier …

When I scrolled down through your posts, I stopped and said to myself that, this bird has some attitude (in a positive manner of course).

We could feel elegance and pride from the way the birdy slightly turned it’s head with an upright posture…

The sharp DOF also helped in this image…

Thank you so much for sharing and this image is worth the effort, Takami 🙂

    • Thank you so much Sreejith! I am very happy you were able to scroll down and see this shot!

Yes, it is as you say – this female Pheasant had quite an attitude! Usually they are quite skittish but she was full of confidence. Thank you again, for your visit and comment. Let’s continue to stay safe!

    • Thank you, Mihaela!
I appreciate your visit and encouraging comments. I am glad you also liked this beautiful female pheasant. She is quite the head turner 🙂 Wishing you a lovely week ahead.

  2. Hello Takami.

How lovely post! I do find it amazing! I love the perspective which you used and that’s why I feel like walking after it! Thank you.

    Have a wonderful day!

    • Thank you Judy 🙂
I have featured male Green pheasants a few times, and thought it was about time to show the ladies too 🙂

Pheasants are quite shy, but she seemed to enjoy a quiet early morning stroll before heading back to the reed fields. She is beautiful, and I think she was aware of it 🙂

    • Thank you Carol 🙂
This is a female “green” pheasant. I have featured male Green pheasants a few times, and thought it was about time to introduce the ladies too 🙂

As you know, pheasants are quite shy, but she seemed to enjoy a quiet early morning stroll around the neighborhood before heading back to the reed fields. I am relieved she avoided traffic and crows.

    • Thank you!
Ah yes, she knew she was being admired – I truly think so 🙂 I have featured male Green pheasants a few times, and thought it’s about time to showcase the ladies too 😀

    • Thank you dear friend!

    • Hello Mr P, so lovely to have you stop by 🙂
Thank you for your comment – it was nice to play around with composition for this image. The female green pheasant (quite usually!) didn’t appear to mind my presence. I do hope she knows how admired she is 🙂
