Beautiful work.
Thank you!
Beautiful image, Takami 🙂
I am also behind the birds and butterflies now a days…
It is such a great feel, to get closer to nature, right?
Thank you Sreejith!
Yes, it is as you say, it feels great to get closer to nature. I look forward to your birds and butterflies photos 🙂
You can definitely expect more, in future 🙂
I really started enjoying birds and butterfly photography and it teaches quite a lot about their life cycle and the intricate connections in nature …
Yes, I agree 100% 🙂 In the meantime, I hope you and your family continue to stay safe and take care!
Love all your captured moments!
Thank you 🙂
Great image of the buntings, Takami! They do look like playing leapfrog 🙂
Thank you my friend! Buntings are often overlooked, but I love their subtle and intricate beauty. I am glad you also felt they were enjoying a game of leapfrog. The image of “leapfrog” brought back many childhood memories 🙂
I too have seen some birds acting like children 🙂
Hello Takami.
How nice it was to visit your blog and find this excellent photo! Lovely. Thank you.
Have a good day!
Hello Matti-san,
I am very happy you enjoyed our Siberian meadow buntings! They seemed to enjoy the late afternoon 🙂 Wish you a great day.

Thank you Sylvie! I am so happy you liked it 🙂 🙂
Once again, you’ve timed your shots so well to bring us something special ~ wishing you well, Takami, and enjoy the weekend.
Hello Randall! So lovely to have you stop by. Siberian meadow buntings are quite common in my neighborhood, thanks to the reed fields right nearby. I love their lovely brown coloring and they are such charming birds.
To my human eyes, they appeared to be playing a bird-version of “leap frog.” I can imagine all of us played this game at some point in our childhood 🙂 Hoping you and all your dear ones continue to stay safe.
I like the name “Siberian Meadow Buntings” and it would be very relaxing to see them play leap-frog, it would be very relaxing ~ perhaps because it is a reflection from childhood. Wishing you well, Takami 🙂
Wonderful photo!
Thank you Mr. N! Your comment is much appreciated.

I enlarged the photo immediately so I could enjoy that tiny bird in flight! Perfect.
Thank you Noelle 🙂
To my human eyes, these 2 meadow buntings appeared to be playing a bird-version of “leap frog.” The late afternoon light gave a feeling of peace and serenity 🙂
exactly!!!
Delightful photo and title, Takami, and such clear focus for an action shot.
Hello Carol! Thank you so much for your visit and comment 🙂
To my human eyes, these meadow buntings appeared to be playing a bird-version of “leap frog.” They really seemed to be enjoying themselves.
An interesting and rare capture Takami. It almost looks like the bird in flight is carrying the vine over the resting bird. Well captured Takami.
I had the same thought!
Thank you Tanja!
As I replied to Ash, I also felt the same way, and it appeared (to my subjective human eyes) to be a bird’s version of “leap frog” 🙂
A lovely, airy play, indeed. Takami. 🙂
Hello Ash,
As always, thank you so much for your visit and thoughtful comment. Yes, it is as you say, the angle gave the appearance of the meadow bunting carrying the vine over the other. To my human eyes, they also appeared be playing a bird-version of “leap frog.” I am so glad you liked it 😀
Nicely captured! Beautiful!
Thank you Mr. Hien!
