    • Hello VK,
Thank you for your lovely comment. I am glad you enjoyed the photo. This bird is a Japanese Pied Wagtail. They are quite common here, but it’s always wonderful to see “familiar faces” 🙂 Thank you again for your comment, and my best wishes always!

    • Hello dear friend! So happy to hear from you. I have received notification of your latest post and will read it soon! I can relate how the seasons seem to “skip” – especially in recent years.

Will be stopping by your lovely site shortly 🙂

        • Yes indeed, Spring does bring lots of extra chores, especially around the house. But of course these are part of the joy and privilege of having a home, and like you, I thankfully have more energy during the warmer months. Being in the sunlight also helps my mood too 🙂

I will be stopping by your lovely blog over the weekend. Please continue to take good care my friend!

    • Hello Tanja,
Thank you so much for your kind words. It means a lot to me. It is great to be back and I look forward to sharing more photos soon.

I have been enjoying your posts and commenting, but my comments may have been moved to the spam folder.

Thanks again for your warm wishes and please continue to take care and stay well❤️

      • I look forward to seeing more of your photos soon, Takami. 😊

If your comments ended up in my spam folder, I apologize. I keep forgetting to look at it and when I just did, there were more than 950 messages, all of which seemed to have some kind of pornographic content. I erased all of them. If some of them were yours, I’m sorry. I will try to check the spam folder more regularly in the future.

        • Dear Tanja,
I completely understand! And of course, it is not your fault at all. I don’t understand why WP suddenly marks some comments as spam, but it seems to happen every now and then.

I just wanted to say how much I appreciate your blog articles, and I apologize if my comments don’t make it through. Best wishes always ❤️

    • Hello Mr. P,
Thank you so much for your warm comment. It is great to be back, and I hope to post to a regular schedule again.

I am happy you enjoyed our local bird. Wagtails are quite “familiar” here too, and as such, they are often over-looked by photographers. I wanted this little fellow to enjoy the spotlight 🙂

Our best wishes to you and Mrs. P always. I hope Milky Bar is behaving 😉

          • Hi Takami. I very rarely check the spam pile, but have just done so and found your latest comment there. Very strange! I shall be sure to check it after each post in future. Thank you for pointing out this puzzling anomaly.
            Best wishes to you! 🙂

    • Thank you Ash, your comment is a blessing and a great way to start the new week.

My husband and I just returned from a mini-birding day trip, it was wonderful to spend a day outside at our favorite nature reserve and greet the waders who are stopping by. It makes a feel a deep connection with your country, as we know the birds share the same route during their remarkable journey.

I am finally almost done catching up on backlogged emails and will send an update soon.

    • Hello again Ash,
I have been catching up on (and enjoying very much) your birding articles, but it appears my comments may have been sent to your spam folder. (I don’t understand why, but this seems to happen from time to time)

  1. And as often happens, my comment posted before I finished. It’s such a delight to hear from you and see your lovely work. I’ve missed seeing the world through your eyes and the lens of your camera, dear friend. 💙

    • Hello Carol,
Thank you so much for your encouraging comments. It is great to be “back” and I am so grateful for the warm welcome. I sincerely look forward to sharing more photos in the weeks to come!
