  1. Wow! ⊙_⊙ I wonder how adventurous you life is! An extremely tough click… precise timings. Congratulations! 😀
Best wishes and regards. Excited to see all your work. ❤

    • Hello Rajiv-san,
I’m sorry to hear about all the havoc the rains have been causing 😦
I hope you and your family are OK?
A big typhoon is supposedly heading our way, and we expect some heavy rainfall too. I think Mother Earth is telling us that she’s tired of humans messing with her beautiful planet…

    • Hello Lindy,
Thanks so much for taking a moment to stop by! I’m really happy you liked this shot of the yawning cub, and twice as happy if you consider it a ‘favourite’ 😀 I hope you and your family are having a good summer.

      Warm wishes,
      Takami

  2. I like your zoo’s outdoor habitat. The natural grass and trees make for a comfortable setting for the lions. Our version is built in a bowl like setting with steep slopes covered in grass. When the grounds crew cuts that grass the lions love to roll down the hill in the clippings. It’s a fin time to be there to watch the event.

    • Hello Bob,
Thank you so much for stopping by! This particular zoo had a very nice outdoor enclosure. They try to go for the ‘safari park’ type of layout which means large enclosures and better planning in regards to layout. Sadly, not all the zoos here are at the best standards, but the zookeepers do try their best with what they have. My husband and I still dream of visiting the Northwestern area of the US someday, and the Oregon Zoo is on our ‘must visit’ list 😀

      Thanks again,
      Takami

    • Thank you, kind sir! And apologies for my delayed response. I’m just about catching up on comments. I love the link you shared! I have bookmarked his YouPic page (along with yours, and the other gentleman from India) so I can refer to it again regularly. Thanks very much for sharing!

    • Thank you Jeannie! I think this cub and the Danbo Brothers have the same philosophy towards Life – and how to spend a hot summer day 🙂 Hope all is well with you and yours, my friend ❤

    • Hello Julia,
Thank you very much for your generous comment! And apologies for my delayed reply. I’m delighted to know you enjoyed this little lion cub. ‘Kids’ are all the same, I think, regardless of species 🙂 🙂 I hope you’re having a lovely summer, hopefully not too busy!

      Warm wishes,
      Takami

      • And now it’s my turn to apologize. I’m spending time with immediate and extended family, which involves extensive travel!
Your comment about “kids” of all species is priceless! You’re SO right. Thought I’m an amateur photographer, I do love the children’s pictures the best!!
I wish you a lovely summer as well.
        Julia 😊
