  1. Hi dear Takami. Sorry for my long absence. It is very difficult to get back to normal.
What a safe place it is under mother’s wings. Your photographs tell a story, as always ❤

    • Hello dear Inese,
I am so happy to read your comments. Thank you for kindly visiting my blog. I completely understand when you say “it is very difficult to get back to normal.” We are all facing an unprecedented situation, and it affects us on many levels…
Please don’t ever feel “pressure” to visit. Your bird friends in Japan will always wait patiently – whenever you have the energy and inclination❤️ Please continue to take care!

    • Hello Matti-san,
      Thank you for your message.
Yes, we are all right. As you know, our government also declared a state of emergency yesterday…it is planned to last until next month.

We hope you and your family stay safe and healthy too!

    • Thank you Atreyee!
Very happy you could stop by, and I appreciate your comment as always. Yes, let’s continue to try and stay safe until things settle down 🙂

      All best,
      Takami

  2. These photos are absolutely heartwarming and beautiful. I wish that all could experience such safety and comfort and a sense of home in these tough times. Take care and keep safe – sending best wishes to you and your husband.

      • Thanks, Takami, and yes, we are well.
I am pleased to see that the Japanese government and people seem to be fairing better than most in containing the pandemic. Best wishes to you all throughout the coming days and weeks!
