    • Thank you Mabel! Greenfinches are charming little birds. They are not “loud” or garish and are often overlooked, but are a favorite among local birdwatchers. They are usually quite active and do not stay in one place for too long, so it was a real treat when this bird chose to spend a quiet moment within the cherry blossoms🌸

Thank you for your warm wishes dear friend😊

  1. Hi Takami!

Mark and I are loving the photos. We hope that you are both well and look forward to being in touch again soon.

All best wishes, Lucy & Mark (England)

    • Thank you Sreejith!
The little bird stopped for a brief moment in the “perfect” place. This year’s Spring we have been very blessed with some lovely bird encounters. 🙂

We also hope you and all your family are continuing to stay safe and well!

      • That’s wonderful. I love the cherry blossom festivals.

I asked about the pronunciation because I’ve visited Japan twice now and some of the words are close enough that, for short flashes, I can understand what people are saying. I’m to add “sakura” to my vocabulary list. 🙂

  2. Such serenity amidst a season of change, Takami. I hope this spring brings you lots of joy and peace. Big hug from Portugal where the wildflowers fill the meadows and birdsong ring in my ears.

    • Thank you Ms. Kim! This means a lot to me 😀 🙂
I’m glad you enjoyed a moment with our local birds. As always, I appreciate and enjoy your thoughtful and thought-provoking writing. Hope you’re continuing to take care.

      • You’re welcome T Ibara, your photos share the beauty of our world, I think beauty has a healing quality. Thank you for your compliment 💖 and I hope you’re also in good heath. 🤗

    • Hello Carol,
Thank you so much for your lovely comment. Ah, yes – “classic” is the English word I was looking for 🙂 I agree, how the little greenfinch perched herself, and surrounded by the cherry blossoms – it did feel like a classic and timeless moment. Your warm wishes and kind words are always much appreciated 🙂

    • Thank you Carol! Despite the ongoing challenging times, Mother Nature continues to provide us with some wonderful moments. Hope you and all your dear ones are staying safe and well.

    • Thank you Rabirius.
Lady Spring provided us some wonderful moments this year. It was much needed “nature therapy” during the ongoing global situation. Hope you are staying safe and well.
