  1. Sorry, for years I wrote several micro stories based on some of your photos and I copied them in my blog but it was not restricted to copy them. I did not notice and I copied this photo that I loved and I wrote a mini story on my blog. But on noticing that it is strictly prohibited, I just deleted it from my blog. It will not happen again. Successes T Ibara!

    • Hello Helen,
Thank you for your comment and apologies for my belated reply.
I feel so emotionally attached to “this” particular Kingfisher, as I’ve had the privilege to “follow” him for the past year. It was a wonderful moment when he made his grand (re)appearance at one of his favourite places.
I very much look forward to sharing more photos and stories with you in 2018.

      Hugs,
      Takami

      • Wonderful! I know how it feels when we get attached to birds we have the privilege to follow 🙂 That last picture you got is exceptional! I have actually come back to look at it a several times. Look forward to more pictures of your friend. Hugs!

    • Hello Michael,
Thank you so much for stopping by and commenting. I am so glad you liked this photo. This particular Kingfisher bird, I’ve been observing and “following” for a year, and I was blessed with a lucky moment 🙂

      Best wishes,
      Takami

    • Hello my friend!
Apologies for the very belated reply. Once again, I hope you and your family had a happy holiday season, and that (despite the cold) 2018 has been off to a great start. I am so happy the response to this photo has been positive. I admit to feeling emotionally attached to “this” particular Kingfisher — as I’ve been following him (but taking care not to disturb his privacy too much ;)) for over a year. When he made his grand (re)appearance to one of his favourite spots late last year, I was overjoyed. As always, our prayers and best wishes to you!!

      • As a person who more than once has found myself overloaded with the task of answering emails, I never worry about replies that take their time in arriving. In this electronic world, at my age, it pays to remember that we as flesh and blood don’t need to match the speed of the metal and wire machines. There’s just no percentage in racing against electricity. As for your friend the Kingfisher, I think that thanks to your wonderful pictures, you are probably not the only person in this world who has grown attached to that particular one of God’s creations. Once that bird starts getting it’s royalty cheques, you make sure you get your 10%. Have a great week now.

  5. 23日に退院します。3か月近く入院でした。その間に私の2巻目の本が出版されました。来月になって歩け回れようになったら郵送いたします。「

    • Hello Mr. Hien!
A belated Happy New Year and thank you for your comment.
Yes, these were water drops from this bird’s “favourite” fountain. I had wanted to try something different, and it certainly helped that the model was being cooperative 🙂 Thank you for your encouragement in 2017. Looking forward to 2018 🙂

    • Hello Peter,
Thank you so much for your generous praise, and apologies for the belated response. This particular fellow I’ve had the privilege of “following” for the past year. I was so glad when he made a grand (re)appearance late last year. Nature teaches us so much! Wishing you all the best for 2018.
